Responsibilities

Everyday is different for a PCA. Our Personal Care Assistant cares for the ill, injured or convalescing patients in a facility. You will be responsible for providing quality healthcare in adherence with all applicable laws, regulations and policies.

Qualifications

We have a variety of PCA openings available and are excited about matching you with a great opportunity! Take a look at the requirements below, to see what you’ll need to get started. 

  • Eighteen years or older
  • Able to read and write consistent with job requirements
  • Successful completion of a training program in personal care services per state regulations
  • Current Registration with the State of California with HCA Registry
  • 1 year experience as a PCA in last three (3) years in a supervised setting
  • Current CPR (live demonstration only)
  • Negative TB/PPD or Chest X-Ray within the last 12 months
  • Proof of current physical completed within the last 12 months
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Capable of moving, lifting and/or transferring clients without posing a danger to the client, co-worker or self
