Responsibilities

The Operations Manager supports the Branch Director, conducting and/or coordinating all back office and general office functions as well as sales and business development. The Operations Manager is a generalist who is able to work any position in the branch.

  • Works with Branch Director to manage fiscal matters
  • Ensures the completion, maintenance and submission of reports and records required by NurseCore, Federal, State, local laws and regulations
  • Supports recruitment effort, to include active recruitment activities as well as orientation support
  • Works with Branch/Area Director on contracts and agreements
  • Reviews accounts receivable reports and keeps Branch/Area Director apprised of issues
  • Conducts routine audits of personnel files to assure compliance
  • Participates in off-site recruitment and community events
  • Identifies and conducts sales activities to ensure adequate pipelines for business development
  • Orders supplies and keeps office in working order
  • Supports and exemplifies AWESome company initiatives
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Supervisory experience
  • At least one year of experience in home health care, with commercial insurance and private pay experience preferred
  • Experience should emphasize problem solving skills in a patient care setting
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
  • Experience with billing, authorizations and accounts receivable
