As the Branch Director you will be responsible for developing and executing business. This is a key management role meaning you will be responsible for always knowing the condition of the business and making sound business decisions in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Additional responsibilities:

  • Supervising Branch office employees and their operations
  • Managing accounts receivable days outstanding with collections personnel
  • Performing 25+ sales calls per week including 5 scheduled appointments
  • Keeping abreast of agency’s business volume
  • Implementing sales programs
  • Maintaining appropriate personnel records, administrative records, and all policies and procedures of the agency
  • Supervising field staff including selection, orientation, counseling, and dismissal
  • Determining community health needs through consultations with health care facilities, home care agencies, and other clients
  • Negotiating contracts and service agreements
  • Participating in community health related and human service organizations to keep informed of current health trends
  • Assisting with the implementation of a public relations program to promote the agency’s nursing services

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1 year of training and experience in health services administration, home health care administration, or health related programs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with health system personnel at all levels
  • Understanding of community and home health needs
  • Ability to read and understand a Profit/Loss statement
